OUR STORY

The Wild Dogs was founded in 2017 and over the past 5 years, the club has gone from strength to strength, competing in prestigious rugby events around the globe. Today we are the largest and one of the most successful 7s clubs in the country which can largely be attributed to three things; Culture, Community & Coaching. The Wild Dogs way is Ubuntu - an ancient Zulu word meaning “Humanity”. It is often translated to “I am because you are” and in a more philosophical sense means “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity”.

We are passionate about sport and wish to inspire children to realise their potential and help them achieve their goals. We want every child to experience the benfits of physical movement and team participation.

OUR COACHES

Our experienced coaching team consists of both full time and part time coaches, developing coaches, premiership players, past and present elite 7s players.

Our coaches aim to build programmes to help both mental and physical development and improve all skillsets from passing, footwork, speed, fitness and general reading of the game. They instill confidence and create a fun enviroment with a serious focus.

OUR GOAL

“To develop young champions on and off the field”.
